A closer look at stocktips.com

16 Dec A closer look at stocktips.com

This evening I read an article posted by Michael Goode on his blog found here taking a closer look at stockstips.com.  In Michael Goode's report he failed to make any headway in uncovering who might be behind stockstips.com.  He mentions that the paying party for all of the past stocktips promotions (Laluna Inc aka Laluna Services Inc) cannot be found.  He also mentions that the purported parent company of stocktips, Amerada Corp, also cannot be found.

I will not spend time trying to hunt down two companies that probably do not exist (Laluna Inc and Amerada Corp).  I will spend my time going back to the beginning when stocktips was first created and looking for clues.  Next I'll take those clues and see where they lead us.

Earliest emails from stocktips.com didn't list Amerada Corp instead it listed the parent company of the website as Stocktips LLC (which also doesn't exist).

Stocktips.com was created back in 2011.  Looking back at old archived versions of the stocktips.com website from 2011 and 2012 show us lots of articles about former Awesome Penny Stock picks including POTG, MILV, AMWI, SNPK, and GWBU.  Early authors for Stocktips.com included Aleksandra Ozimek and Sean Clancy.   The fact that they were pushing APS tickers doesn't make them linked to APS.  Best I can tell all of their alerts came out after the promotions were well under way.  They appear to have just been taking advantage of the APS promotions to draw in new members.

Besides the penny stock articles, stocktips.com was also a spam type site that was selling something called a "stock trading loophole" that could make subscribers $10,000/month trading stocks.   The program was offered by somebody named Paul Kincaid.

I had to laugh when I looked over one of his videos found at http://www.stocktips.com/december-commissions-2/Paul Kincaid claims that the video is live and then allows viewers of the video to watch him making over $6,000 in profits on TLLE on November 16, 2012.  Of note, the narrator of the video is not Paul Kincaid at least not the same one that shows up in later videos (you'll hear his voice later in this report in other videos).  Also of note, when the author logs into Google it is UK Google meaning that when this video was made, the author was located in the UK.

To try to prove to viewers that the date really was November 15, 2012 when he bought the stock and November 16, 2012 when he sold the stock he provided a live look at The New York Times website:

a

Screen Shot 2013-12-15 at 8.48.54 PM

a

Paul Kincaid then logs into his trading account and lets you watch him buy 15,384 shares of TLLE stock.  He lies to viewers and tells them he is buying the stock on November 15, 2012 then selling the stock on November 16, 2012.

The problem is that he lies.

TLLE went bankrupt in September of 2012 and no longer traded under the stock symbol TLLE in November of 2012.  It was trading as TLLEQ.

The price of TLLEQ was not $.13/share as Paul Kincaid claims on November 15, 2012.  It was trading at $.34/share.  Not a single share was traded on November 16, 2012.

a

Screen Shot 2013-12-15 at 8.42.54 PM

a

What Paul Kincaid was actually showing was a video from December of 2008.  He attempts to blacken out all the dates so that viewers will think it is really November 15, 2012, but he misses a few dates.  Look at this screen shot from the video showing his 15,384 share buy.  Notice the date?  It says December 16, 2008.

a

Screen Shot 2013-12-15 at 8.43.49 PM

a

Now look at this screen shot from when Paul Kincaid shows his profits in his account the next day.  Notice the date?  It says December 17, 2008.

a

Screen Shot 2013-12-15 at 8.49.18 PM

a

This historical chart for TLLE from December 16, 2008 and December 17, 2008 further proves the fraud.

a

The following youtube video posted on April 25, 2013 gives us a look at Paul Kincaid while he promotes his "stock trading loophole"

a

 a

Spam about this "stock trading loophole" program can be found all over the internet giving this researcher flashbacks to the "stock picking robot" offered by the Hunter twins also known as the "day trading robot".  This program was offered by two people invented by the Hunter twins named Michael Cohen and Jason Kelly.  Later the Hack the Stockmarket program was offered by another person invented by the Hunter twins called John Bell.  We had already made several suspicious connections between Stocktips.com and the new Hack the Stockmarket group websites as talked about in our TGRO report and other previous stocktips.com reports on our website, but this time it appears that Paul Kincaid is a real person.... or is he?.  The fact is that this "Paul Kincaid" person in the preceding video could just be an actor saying his name is Paul Kincaid.  More about the Paul Kincaid / Day Trading Robot connection later in this report.

John Bell and Paul Kincaid share the same biography if you compare some old HacktheStockMarket material with some old StockTips material.  Both grew up poor but with a comfortable upbringing.  Both suffered from Asperger’s Syndrome and both gained their passion for the stock market because of the Asperger’s Syndrome.

The sister site to stocktips.com, invests.com also advertises the Paul Kincaid trading strategy pointing readers to the fraudulent video about TTLE.

The first alerts done by stocktips.com came in March of 2012 see the following two emails I found online:

Screen Shot 2013-12-15 at 11.00.16 PM

Screen Shot 2013-12-15 at 11.00.30 PM

The first ever paid stock promotion by stocktips.com was GGSM in May of 2012.  As you can see from this page, Paul Kincaid was the one signing for stocktips.com during the stock promotion:

a

Take a look at the youtube videos for the GGSM and NANI promotions.  They are very similar to the AMMG video from August of 2013 which follows.  The voices are similar also, only in the GGSM  and NANI videos we are not told that the voice is somebody named Mike Statler.

Now watch the Paul Kincaid video again (without looking at Paul Kincaid).  Maybe it is just me, but the voice of Paul Kincaid sounds awfully similar to the voice of Mike Statler.  In fact, I believe that Paul Kincaid is Mike Statler.

a

a

"Mike Statler" went on to narrate the PGLO video (now offline) and the TGRO video found here.

a

a

A closer look at the youtube page used to upload the NANI promo video (nanirevolution) gives us yet another solid connection to the HacktheStockMarket group.   nanirevolution liked a another youtube page which was promoting the old HacktheStockMarket groups "Day Trading Robot" program.

a

Screen Shot 2013-12-16 at 9.39.44 PM

a

Now watch that video about the Day Trading Robot

a

 a

The voice sound familiar?  How about the UK Google page?  How about the New York Times page?  How about the stock - TLLE?  How about the Dates - December 16, 2008 and December 17, 2008?  Yes we found the original source for the Paul Kincaid video without the dates blackened out and changed.  Watch the Paul Kincaid video found on the stocktips.com website again at this link and compare them.

Is this definitive proof that the HacktheStockMarket group is definitely linked to stocktips?  That would help explain why stocktips promoted TGRO which is controlled by the same group that controls HacktheStockMarket group promos NGRC and NHUR.  That would also explain why invests.com is a knock off of thefinanciertimes and other HacktheStockMarket group sister sites using billionaires like Warren Buffet to try to help promote their tickers.

a

Paul Kincaid's name would also show up at the bottom of the pumper emails for ETEK (linked to TGRO)

a

Screen Shot 2013-12-15 at 10.24.36 PM

a

It turns out that this 888-455-0690 phone number was also used to promoted HAIR in the spring of 2012 from buyinsider.com.

a

Screen Shot 2013-12-15 at 10.42.29 PM

Screen Shot 2013-12-15 at 10.42.49 PM

a

One other website also promoted ETEK and HAIR and uses the 888-466-0690 phone number - Pure Stock Tips at purestocktips.com

a

Screen Shot 2013-12-15 at 10.51.03 PM

a

But purestocktips.com makes it very clear that by the time the AMMG promotion started they were no longer affiliated with stocktips.com

a

Screen Shot 2013-12-15 at 10.50.38 PM

a

This is no question that at one time Pure Stock Tips and Stock Tips were affiliate websites sharing a phone number and promoting the same stocks.  Something must have happened during the HAIR promotion and the two sites broke apart with stocktips getting Paul Kincaid (aka Mike Statler) and Pure Stock Tips keeping the 1-800 phone number.

It was after this split up that stocktips.com became a much better promoter starting with the AMMG pick.

Since the phone number didn't help us out much I decided to research the stocktips address, 4000 Aurora Avenue N. Ste. 119, and see if it gives us any clues.   Sure enough it does.  For a brief period of time in the summer of 2012, stocktips used yet another name for their parent company, Wild Life Marketing Inc.

a

Screen Shot 2013-12-15 at 11.15.34 PM

a

Turns out that another website that no longer exists called Penny Stock Club also promoted GGSM and also used the same 4000 Aurora Avenue N. Ste 119, Seattle, Washington address and also was owned by Wild Life Marketing Inc.

a

Screen Shot 2013-12-15 at 11.15.54 PM

a

Their GGSM email lists Wild Life Marketing Inc with a Panamanian address.  Turns out that Wild Life Marketing Inc is a Panamanian entity using nominee Panamanian officers:

a

Screen Shot 2013-12-15 at 11.22.04 PM

a

I also found Stocktips.com Inc listed as a Panamanian business entity.  The entity shares some names with Wild Life Marketing Inc.

a

Screen Shot 2013-12-15 at 11.24.34 PM

a

The three officers, Jad Sfeir, Elias Nader Sfeir, and Kwok Hon Fu also have one more Panamanian entity called Dot Com Invests Inc probably representing the stocktips sister site, invests.com.

a

Screen Shot 2013-12-15 at 11.27.31 PM

a

All of these Panamanian entities once again give me flashbacks to the Hunter Twins who original founded the HacktheStockMarket stock promotion franchise.  The Hunter Twins are from the UK (remember that UK Google page in the Paul Kincaid and Day Trading Robot videos) and they used Panamanian entities often including one the SEC listed in their Complaint against the Hunter Twins in 2011 called Regency Investment Group Corp.  In fact, if you read that SEC Complaint against the Hunter Twins it specifically cites the Day Trading Robot.  The same Day Trading Robot used in the video that stocktips.com's Paul Kincaid later copied.

Remember that TLLE video.  Now read this directly from the SEC complaint against the Hunter twins:

More about our Panamanian nominees

Jad Sfeir is from Lebanon but now lives in Hong Kong where he works at a high end restaurant.

Elias Nadar Sfeir aka Elie Sfeir is from Lebanon and now lives in Hong Kong.

Kwok Hon Fu is actually Patrick Fu Kwok Hon.  He is from Hong Kong.  This is him.

a

Screen Shot 2013-12-16 at 12.56.10 AM

a

Patrick Fu Kwok Hon, Elias Nadar Sfeir, and Jad Sfeir all attended a wine event together on June 11, 2013 in Hong Kong called Tapas & Wines.  See this link.  Jad Sfeir and Elias Sfeir appear to possibly be employees of the restaurant.

s

In fact, the 3 of them hang out and party often.  Here is another example of them hanging out together in Hong Kong at the Red Mill Hong Kong on December 3, 2013.

a

a

These three sure love their wine, but they do not seem like stock promoters.   I really can't explain how they got involved in incorporating the Stocktips entities in Panama.  Perhaps they know the people that really control the promotional website.

In the end we have found many possible convincing connections between the HacktheStockMarket group and stocktips.com, but Stock Tips has evolved a lot since the beginning so we cannot be absolutely certain who definitely controls stocktips now.  Some rumors have it that some important former Awesome Penny Stock insiders got involved in Stock Tips starting right before the AMMG promotion.  At least for now we were able to dig up a few names that might help with future research.

About a year ago I stumbled onto some info while digging into Stock Tips more that suggests that Adrian Thomas and Ulrik Debo took over the company some time before the AMMG promo. They some how got hooked up with some big money guys out of the Caribbean that helped make them a big name stock promotion company for a nice stretch.
